The audio and video was captured in East Berlin before the wall came down. It was a sign of good things to come, as the Eastern bloc nations were very fearful of modern rock music’s influence on their perceived utopian society. The band was not mainstream in the U.S.A., but had quite a following in Europe when I lived there in the late 70s, and it grew even stronger into the 80s. Two of the founding members are now passed on, but their music remains.
